Village of Lake Hallie Water Ban lifted – July 7, 2021: Residents are encouraged to follow the regulations of the Village Water Conservation Ordinance to prevent future interruptions in the use of residential irrigation systems which states the following: Water Conservation shall pertain to services connected to the municipal water system only. Outdoor irrigation season is from May 1st to September 30th Hours of outdoor irrigation are between 5 am to 8 am and 6 pm to 10 pm Residents whose address ends in even digit may irrigate on even number days and residents whose address ends in odd digit may irrigate on odd number days. Irrigation on July 31st and August 31st is prohibited. Exemptions: Washing of vehicles. Irrigation activities at cemeteries. Irrigation of gardens, trees, and shrubs through use of a hand-held watering can or other hand-held container or hose, however, any such watering device must be utilized manually and cannot be left unattended. Irrigation of new lawns for 20 days. A new lawn is when more than 50% of the lawn is being replaced. Soaker hose to water trees or shrubs as long as the hose is within the tree/shrub’s root area.
